DR.JOU was founded in 1934 by Mr.Jou Tzau Chuen from Changhua. It was a small retail shop that mainly sell daily necessities.
After 1945,Mr.Jou Tzau Chuen transformed the shop into a retail and wholesale business, specializing in daily necessities and skincare products.
In 1976, the second generation Mr.Jou Yung Tian took over and officially registered as " DR.JOU Department Store Co., Ltd." To pass down the company inheritance,the Jou family sent the third generation Jou Jiun Shiu to Japan for education and developed a strict professional spirit.
Since being a doctor, Jou Jiun Shiu accumulated clinical experience meanwhile started to take over the family business. He founded the brand- DR. JOU, named after his grandfather's shop. He is fully responsible for the product development and group operation.
Dr. Zhou has successfully developed the facial masks that based on medical ingredients such as collagen essence and hyaluronic acid essence. These products are well received by consumers in Asian.
Meanwhile, our process complies with the Good Manufacturing Practices (VCGMP) and ISO22716 quality certification. For the quality requirements and strict control of water, we use DI ultra-pure water system equipment that is water grade for high-precision electronics industry.
