ELITE SEWING MFG. CO., LTD. was established in 1975, starting with the production of household sewing machines. Our name consists of "Excellence", "Loyalty", "Intelligence", "Technology" and "Education". Its goal is to be "elite". Thus, we put a lot of effort into making it happen. Nevertheless, we have encountered a change in the industrial environment. We are committed to changing that. Therefore, the Toyota Production System was introduced in 1983 and production of auto parts began in 1985.
In 1996, we received a 5-star Award for Excellence in Safety and Health and ISO 9002. Next, we also obtained ISO 14001 certification for environmental management in 1998, QS-9000 certification in 2000, ISO 9001 (2000 edition) certification in 2002, and TS16949 certification, which is necessary for the globalization of the automotive industry, and OHSAS 18001 certification for safety and health management in 2013. However, we want to do more and grow.
Since 2000, we have been investing abroad to establish a household sewing machine manufacturing firm and an auto parts of firm, e.g. Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Wuxi. Not only that, we also started to selling ABS and shower toilets in 2017-2018. At the same time, we also have a good presentation on the individual sports of our employees such as winning a 3-year champion from Japan. In order to transform and upgrade, we expanded into the aviation industry and obtained AS9100D certification in 2020. In recent years, we have been actively looking for other new business opportunities, hoping to bring the next generation to ELITE.
Now we have four plants and a logistic office located Taiwan (R. O. C.). The head quarter is responsible for aluminum die casting line, gravity casting line and assembly line. The first plant is responsible for CNC machine line. The second plant is responsible for roll forming line. The third plant is responsible for press stamping line. Our products include engine related products, sunroof, door locks, door handles, brakes, and so on. Our capital is NTD$292,740,000. Our organization is spread over three headquarters: the production headquarter, the sales headquarter and the business management headquarter. And another division is the new project development.
For a long time, we will also give back to the community as our social responsibility. We sponsor remote students to showcase their talents on a global stage and participate in beach cleanups to combat environmental threats. Moreover, we have taken on educational responsibilities in the open field, providing opportunities for teachers and students in industry and universities to observe Japanese management.
