Jaxy Optical Instrument Co.,Ltd (business license No.:91330782666177064L) was founded on Aug.29,2007 and specialized in
manufacturing Binoculars,magnifier,air longer,compass,whistle, 3D glasses,Pet supplies rubber class,Pet supplies textile,Pet
supplies wooden class,Pet supplies class stainless steel,Pet supplies plastic class,Pet supplies. The factory had assembling,
inspecting and packing processes. The factory was located at 2nd Floor, 800 Xizhan Avenue, Chengxi Street, Yiwu,Zhejiang
Province,China. There were total 30 employees in the factory.
The factory adopted finger scanning attendance system to record the working hours for employees. During the audit, the factory
provided the electronic attendance records from Nov.1,2020 to Dec.29,2021. Based on the management/workers interview and
review sampling attendance records, it was noted that the workers had 8 regular working hours per day,5 days per week.All
workers worked 1 shift: 08:00~12:00, 13:00~17:00, 2 overtime hours (17:30~19:30) at night for 0~4 times per week.All workers
worked six days per week, and rest on every Sunday. The maximum amount of daily/ monthly overtime hours were 2 hours / 58
hours respectively, workers' maximum weekly working time were 56 hours.
Based on the payrolls from Nov.2020 to Oct.2021 provided by factory, it was noted that at least RMB 2300/month as regular
wage which was above the legal requirement(RMB1800 per month or RMB10.34 per hour before Aug.1,2021, RMB 2070 per
month or RMB11.9 per hour since Aug.1,2021). Overtime wages were paid at 150% /200% on weekdays/rest days respectively.
Workers' wage was paid by cash at the end of the following month.
The audit included document review, factory tour and workers interview. Meeting with Wu Jinhua/ General Manager Ge Dingqin/
Plant manager,Liang Xinlin/Sales and Peng Weili/ Worker representative were held. The non-compliances were observed
in below performance areas: Social Management System, Workers Involvement and Protection,Fair Remuneration, Decent
Working Hours, Occupational Health and Safety. Onsite CAP was confirmed and signed by Wu Jinhua/ General Manager and
Peng Weili/ Worker representative.
