Introduction
The predecessor of GUANGJIA Ceramics was founded in 1987.The founder Weibin Oiu is the 3rdGeneration of a ceramic family in Chaozhou. Today, we produce five types of fine chinaporcelain and iron china, and has reached to the production capacity of 20 milion pieces per yearMagnesium porcelain, bone china and color china are two-time fring porcelains.T he standard manufacturingprocess entails the following stages with skilled craftsmanship to ensure high-standard quality.

1)PORCELAIN CLAY

We developed our own recipes of porcelain clay to ensure the stability of fne quality. Feldspar, quartzand ball day are well selected to meet the demands of fine quality.

2)FORMING

Regular round plates and bowls are formed on roller machines. rregular plates and bowls are formedin two-parted plaster molds by pressing slurry into the molds.The forming method is called "two-sidesforming. Pots and vases are cast in plaster molds with the slurry stabilized into shapes and poured outThe forming method is called "one-side forming. As the shapes are formed, soaked sponges are usedto remove the scratches and scars from the surfaces.

3)ERST-TIME FIRING(BISCUIT)

The clay bodies are sintered in oxidizing atmosphere at the temperature around 1250 degree centigradeThe process vitrifes the clay bodies and forms what we called "biscuit". However during the fring, the biscuitsexperience a 15-20% of shrinkage, which causes deformation and cracking. So we use refractory saggers toallow the clay bodies to follow the profiles of the refractory saggers.

4)GLAZING
Two-time firing porcelain's glaze is mainly frit. We spray glaze on the biscuits as the way is to ensure the glazeis applied evenly and thin.

5)SECOND-TIME FIRING

The second-time fring is carried out at the temperature of 1 100 degree centigrade. During the process, theglaze melts and fuses onto the surface of the biscuits, As they are cooled down,the glaze becomes a laverof solid protection of the biscuits.

6)DECORATION

There are various methods of decoration on porcelain. On-glaze and in-glaze decal decoration, andgold/platinum fnishing are traditional decoration methods We only select superior auality of decals andgold/platinum to offer our customers the finest and healthiest porcelains. All decorations are handled byexcellent skilled artisans by hands.
